I think it's common, when you apply to some design jobs you always requested to attach your design portfolio. While in my thinking, when they finally hire you as a designer, they not only look you as a designer itself, but you also hired as a human, as a part of their organization. So, here's my try to create The Portfolio of My Life.
Part 1: The Little Ilyas Fahreza
I grown up in Indonesia
I have Sundanese parentage. My parents both are hard workers. I always look up the them as my role model, even though I barely know that they're not the best parent in the world. Yes, I always end up alone with my brother and lack of attention, yet I learn that they're responsible to their works and still keep up with their role as a parent of their two sons. The responsible trait they had make me to push harder and and being competitive as a student on my school years.
My parents know well how to raise a creative children. My dad never bought me any toys but I always grateful that when he come home he brought us some creative materials like story book, children movies, and even educational video games. My mom also subscribed to some high quality children magazine and other basic encyclopaedias. Those improve my inquisitive and imaginative side, and this also created my hobby as drawing and reading some books.
Those qualities I have since I was a toddler until I was a kid, shapes me as a responsible, creative, and curious person.
